On July 20, 2024, at 7:21pm, Alaska State Troopers received a report from the U.S. Coast Guard of a missing plane involving a single propeller 1948 Beach Craft Bonanza near Mount Crillon. Investigation revealed the pilot, and two passengers did not arrive in Yakutat at the scheduled arrival time. Search efforts by USCG and RCC are ongoing.

On 07/20/2024 at 1857 hours Soldotna dispatch received a report of a possible hit and run at North Kasilof Beach. Upon further investigation, 29 year old Chugiak resident Alesa Noe was driving impaired and collided with several other parked vehicles. Noe was remanded to Wildwood pretrial on one count of misdemeanor DUI and one count of Assault in the 3rd degree.

On 07/20/2024 at about 1955 hours, the Alaska State Troopers with the assistance of Pretrial Enforcement Division (PED) contacted and arrested Sharissa Bevis, age 28 of Ketchikan at a residence on Denali Avenue. Bevis was found to have an outstanding arrest warrant for VCOR- Felony. The original charge stemmed from Assault in the 2nd Degree. Bevis was transported and remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center with No Bail.

On 07/21/2024 at approximately 2119 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received information of a wanted person near the intersection of N. Church Road and W. Spruce Avenue. AST responded and located Jerod Sieler, age 34 of Wasilla. Jerod had an outstanding warrant for Violating Conditions or Release, Theft in the 4th degree, and Fraud. After a short foot pursuit Jerod was taken into custody. Jerod was transported to MSPT where he was remanded and held, bail was set at $250.

On July 20th, 2024, at approximately 1952 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a disturbance on Palmer Fishhook. Investigation revealed, a teenager recklessly caused physical injury to her parent. AST remanded the juvenile at the Department of Juvenile Justice without bail pending arraignment.

On 07/20/24 at 0507 hours, the Alaska State Troopers were notified of a motorcycle accident at the intersection of Lucille and E Luther Road. AST responded and contacted the driver. The investigation revealed that the operator, Alejandro Hawk, age 37 of Wasilla, was under the influence of alcoholic beverages. Hawk was arrested and remanded at Matsu Pretrial for driving under the influence.

On 07/20/2024, at approximately 2225 hours, AST received a report of a domestic violence incident in the area of W. Rojon Cir. AST responded and, through investigation, revealed that Micheal Huisingh, age 47 of Wasilla, had committed the crimes of Assault in the 2nd degree and Assault in the 3rd degree against a family member. Micheal was arrested and transported to Palmer Pretrial, remanded, and held without bail.

Location: HealyType: Assault 4 (X3), Disorderly Conduct, Criminal Mischief 5thDispatch Text:
On 7/21/2024 at about 0154 hours, AST received multiple 911 calls reporting a male screaming and trying to break into a vacation rental cabin at the Tri-Valley Cabins located in Healy. The male was screaming obscenities while pounding/kicking on the door to a rental cabin trying to get inside. Inside the vacation rental, a family was placed in imminent fear, they called 911 and waited inside the cabin with a firearm to defend themselves if the male made entry. AST arrived on scene and immediately took DEION FRANK (age 22 of Fairbanks) into custody who was still screaming and pounding on the wall of the cabin threatening the occupants of the cabin and causing a disturbance with other guests trying to sleep. Investigation revealed no connection to DEION FRANK and the vacationers in the cabin, DEION FRANK was severely intoxicated and was likely confused about where he was, trying to break into the wrong cabin. DEION was charged with the following crimes:
Assault 4th Degree (3X) for placing the family members in fear.
Disorderly Conduct for recklessly creating a hazardous condition for others while trying to break into a cabin putting all vacationers and guests in harm’s way.
Criminal Mischief 5th Degree for intentionally spitting multiple times on the windows and ceiling of the prisoner compartment of the Alaska State Trooper patrol car, causing substantial inconvenience and additional expenditures of state funds and overtime to clean and sterilize the patrol car.
DEION FRANK was transported and remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center to be held until sober per the Statewide Bail Schedule.

On 7/21/2024 AST conducted a traffic stop on a bicycle in the area of S Cushman St. The rider, Justin Peter-Horace (24) of Fairbanks, attempted to flee from Troopers after crashing his bike. Justin was quickly taken into custody without further incident. Justin had 2 active warrants for his arrest and was remanded at FCC.

Update: On July 24, 2024, at around 3:00 am, the Alaska State Troopers were informed that a local search team located Robert alive near Beaver on the river's shore with his boat. The search teams transported him to Beaver, where he was assessed at the local clinic. We appreciate the assistance of all of the local search teams and the US Fish and Wildlife Service in this joint search effort.
Update: On July 21, 2024, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service law enforcement and local searchers continued to search by boat from Fort Yukon to Circle. Based on information gathered from local residents, Alaska Wildlife Troopers conducted an aerial search upriver of Circle. July 22, 2024, Search efforts for Robert Peter are continuing with assets from FWS, AWT, Civil Air Patrol, and local searches.
On 07/20/2024, Fairbanks AST was notified that Robert Peter was overdue traveling by boat from Circle to Fort Yukon. Fairbanks Rural Unit and Coldfoot AWT conducted aerial searches of the Yukon River between Fort Yukon and Circle. US Fish and Wildlife Service Law Enforcement and local residents conducted searches by boat along the Yukon River. Aerial search efforts and boat searches are on-going. Anyone with information regarding Robert Peter's whereabouts are asked to contact the Alaska State Troopers in Fairbanks at 907-451-5100.
