On 12/6/2024, Alaska State Troopers in Anchor Point attempted to locate Caprice Mcallistar, 23 years old, at a residence in Anchor Point. Mcallistar was known by law enforcement to have several outstanding arrest warrants. During the course of the investigation, Mary Webb, 31 years old, refused to allow Troopers to search the residence and made multiple statements that Caprice was not there. Troopers executed a search warrant on the residence and arrested both Mcallistar and Webb. Mcallistar was remanded at Homer Jail on her outstanding warrants and Webb was remanded on 1x count of hindering prosecution in the 2nd degree.

On 12/06/2024 at approximately 1720 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a two-vehicle injury crash located at the interchange. Northbound Parks Highway was shut down for approximately one hour while fire units extricated one patient. EMS evaluated and transported multiple patients to local hospitals. The investigation is ongoing.

On 12/06/24 Alaska State Troopers assigned to Palmer Judicial Services were advised Joshua Rogers age, 29 of Colorado had been arrested on the charges of Misconduct Involving Weapons in the Third and Fifth Degree and remanded to Matsu Pretrial. It was discovered Rogers has a valid, full extradition arrest warrant out of the state of Colorado for Failure to Comply with Probation Supervision. Rogers was remanded on the additional charge of Fugitive from Justice while in custody at Matsu Pretrial and held without bail. Palmer Judicial Services took case responsibility for the Fugitive from Justice case and are currently working with the originating agency in Loveland Colorado to facilitate his extradition.

On 12/06/2024 at approximately 1917 hours, MATCOM received a report of a domestic disturbance located near Limberlost Avenue and Phenix Avenue in Wasilla. Troopers contacted Langeston Corey Hughes II, age 43 of Wasilla. Investigation revealed Hughes II recklessly caused physical injury to a family member and intentionally damaged property at the residence. Hughes II was arrested and transported to Mat-Su Pre-Trial, where he was remanded on charges of Assault in the 4th degree and Criminal Mischief in the 5th degree, both per domestic violence and held no bail.

On 12/06/2024 at approximately 1920 hours, AST was dispatched to a residence on Limberlost Ave in Wasilla for a report of an active disturbance. Through investigation, it was determined that Violet Batt, age 28 of Wasilla had violated her conditions of release on the original charges of Assault DV and Criminal Mischief DV. Violet was placed under arrest for VCOR, remanded, transported to MatSu PreTrial, and held without bail.

On December 5, 2024 at approximately 2213 hours, the Alaska State Troopers responded to the Wolf Lake neighborhood for the report of a disturbance involving gunshots. Investigation revealed that Trenton Howell, 26 years old of Wasilla, was the party involved. A routine check of APSIN indicated Howell was on Conditions of Release for a previous case in which he was not to possess a firearm. Additionally, he was required to wear a court ordered GPS ankle monitor, which he cut and removed during the disturbance. Howell was arrested and remanded to Mat Su Pre-Trial on the following charges: Third Degree Escape, Fifth Degree Criminal Mischief, Violate Conditions of Release, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, and Fourth Degree Weapons Misconduct. No persons or property (other than Howell's ankle monitor) were damaged during the incident.

On December 5th, 2024, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of two vehicles stolen from the area of Ravenwood Ave. The vehicles had been stolen sometime in the last few weeks while the owner was away. Troopers began efforts to locate the vehicles that evening.
At approximately 2225 hours, Troopers located one of the stolen vehicles in the area of Fulton St. and Charles St. The driver was detained and after subsequent investigation, Robbie Bevard, 50, of Fairbanks was placed under arrest for Vehicle Theft 1st Degree. He was remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center.
At approximately 0030 hours later that night, Troopers located the second stolen vehicle in the area of S. Cushman St. Troopers contacted two occupants. The driver was identified as Michael Browning Jr. and was subsequently placed under arrest on an outstanding $250 misdemeanor warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial Conference Hearing (ref. 4FA-23-224CR).
Both vehicles were returned to the owner without further incident.

On December 5th, 2024 at approximately 2337 hours, the Fairbanks Criminal Suppression Unit (CSU) conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near 15th Ave./Stacia St. The Trooper identified Nutaaq Reyes, 39, of Fairbanks as a passenger. Reyes had an outstanding $5000 felony arrest warrant for Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance 4th Degree.

On 12-6-24 at approximately 1415 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a death at a residence off Farmer's Loop. Investigation showed that Thomas Johnson, age 66 of Fairbanks had died. There was no foul play suspected. The next of kin has been notified.

On 12/05/2024 at 2318 hours the Alaska State Troopers were contacted by Clear Space Force Security Forces who reported a service member was deceased on base. Investigation determined 30-year-old Air Force personnel stationed on Clear was deceased due to a medical emergency. CPR and recusation was attempted by medical personnel on base but were unsuccessful. No foul play was suspected. The next of kin were notified. The deceased remains were sent to the State Medical Examiner for an autopsy. AST would like to thank Clear Space Force, and the Air Force Security Forces stationed on Clear for their assistance in the investigation.

On December 4, 2024, the Alaska State Troopers received a report that a teenage juvenile in Quinhagak had potentially been sexually assaulted. The Alaska Bureau of Investigation’s Western Major Crimes Unit began an investigation into the allegations. After a thorough investigation, Troopers determined that 20-year-old Quinhagak resident John Lupie had sexually abused the juvenile. On December 17, 2024, he was arrested for Sexual Assault in the First Degree and remanded to Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center.
