On 02/11/2025 at approximately 1119 hours, Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on Big Lake Road and Parks Hwy in Big Lake. Investigation led to the arrest of the driver, Steven Seime, age 60 of Wasilla, for driving under the influence. Seime was remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.

Investigation led to the arrest of Jeremy Ickes, age 52 of Talkeetna, for MICS V after he was found to be in possession of Heroin. Ickes was remanded to the custody of the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.

On 02/10/2025 at approximately 1409 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a Medical Assist for CPR in progress near Jonesville Mine Rd. in Sutton. EMS responded and arrived prior to AST. At approximately 1440 hours Diane Tweden, was pronounced deceased in her home. Investigation revealed that Diane passed away from natural causes. Diane was turned over to Valley Mortuary.

On 02/11/2025 at 1743 a Trooper conducted a traffic stop for an equipment violation. The driver was identified as Russell Steinman and passenger Elena Chestnut. Ultimately Chestnut was arrested for a probation violation. A probation search was conducted and suspected narcotics found in the vehicle. Further follow up will be conducted.

Upon investigation, the passenger of the vehicle, Jeremy Towson (51) was arrested and remanded to FCC for possession of illegal substances (misch 5), violation of conditions of release, and promotion of contraband.
