On 10/20/2024, Alaska State Troopers began taking several reports of destroyed mailboxes in the Sterling area. The affected areas were around Robinson Loop, Scout Lake Road and several roads in between those areas. It is suspected the incidents happened in the late night/early morning hours of 10/19 to 10/20. Anyone with information about the incidents that could provide leads for law enforcement, please contact the Alaska State Troopers at 262-4453. Location: WasillaType: Arrest Warrant and Criminal Trespass IIDispatch Text:
On 10/21/2024, at approximaltey 1303 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report from Three Bears located on KGB near Vine Road of a male who was trespassing. AST responded to the scene. AST contacted Kendel Beasley, age 26 of Wasilla. Investigation revealed that Kendel was trespassing and had an outstanding arrest warrant for the original crime of MIW V. Kendel was arrested and transported to Matsu Pretrial, where he was remanded and held on a $250 bail.

On 10/20/2024 at approximately 1930 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to Fox Run RV Park in Palmer. Jeremy Fernandez (34 YOA) was trespassing and attempting to break into several buildings and a vehicle. Troopers found him nearby in an abandoned cabin and arrested him for Burglary, Trespass, and Disorderly Conduct. Jeremy was taken to Palmer Pretrial and held without bail.

On October 21, 2024, AST completed an ATV theft investigation. On October 16, 2024 at about 2100 hours, Kibbie Tom (19 yoa of Stebbins) and Kiana Washington (18 yoa of Stebbins) stole at 2024 Honda Rancher ATV valued at $11000 from a property in Stebbins. Washington and Tom were stopped by the village police officer in Saint Michael at about 2330 hours on the same night. Both were detained and the ATV was recovered by the owner. Tom is charged with Vehicle Theft 2 and Violating Conditions of Release in two open criminal cases. Kiana Washington is charged with Vehicle Theft in the 2nd Degree.

On October 19, 2024, AST responded to a disturbance in Stebbins at about 1830 hours. Investigation determined that Shane A. Mike (23 yoa of Kotlik) assaulted a 23 yoa woman by strangulation. Through investigation, AST also determined Mike reportedly committed other DV assaults via strangulation on the same victim in August, 2024 and another assault one week prior. AST arrested Mike for two counts of Assault in the 3rd Degree and two counts of Assault in the 4th Degree.

On 10-21-24, Delta Junction AST attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a black Audi sedan for doing 90+ past two trooper vehicles in the opposite lane and then going around a sharp corner at that speed. Delta AST initiated their overhead lights and the driver made the decision to continue his speed and turn off on a side road avoiding AST. Delta AST would like to remind the motoring public driving at excessive speeds with the slick road conditions could lead to a serious accident causing injury/death to yourself, others, as well as totaling your vehicle you are so proud of.
