    Dispatch Text:

    On 7/25/2024, Alaska State Troopers in Anchor Point conducted a traffic stop for a moving violation. Investigation determined the driver, Randle Boquecosa (age 24), was driving in violation of his instructional permit. Randle was issued a misdemeanor citation and released on his own recognizance.

    On 7/26/24 at approximately 0137 Alaska State Troopers responded to Talkeetna for a disturbance. A male caller reported his girlfriend had yelled at him and he wanted to separate from her.  After speaking to both parties no crimes were reported and the parties remained separated.

    On 7/26/24 at approximately 1907 hours AST responded to a trespassing in the Butte. The caller stated she bought a property and someone was camping on it. Troopers met with a male subject who stated he did not know the property was sold and agreed to leave.

    On 7/26/24 at approximately 2206 hours, multiple Alaska State Troopers, Wasilla PD Officers and EMS personnel responded to Schrock Road near Wilmington Drive for what was dispatched as a motor vehicle collision with injuries.  Investigation revealed it was a single vehicle in the ditch and no injuries were reported by the sole occupant.

    On 7/26/24 at approximately 2115 hours, the Alaska State Troopers in Wasilla responded to what was dispatched as a disturbance at a residence in the area of Schrock Road.  Investigation revealed there was no disturbance and no AST or EMS assistance was necessary.

    Type: Violating Conditions of Release, Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest

    On July 25th, 2024, at approximately 1800 hours, AST received a report that John Bartko, age 72 of Palmer, was violating his conditions of release by being at a residence located in Palmer. AST responded and located John in the residence. John barricaded the door, preventing AST from entering his bedroom. Once AST made entry, John had a dangerous instrument in his hand and refused to comply with orders. John was ultimately arrested and charged with VCOR, Disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. John was remanded at MSPT without bail pending arraignment. AST would like to thank the Palmer Police Department for there assistance.

    On 07/26/24 at 1258 hours, the Alaska State Troopers were notified about an unknown male inside of a residence in Wasilla. AST responded and located Robert Chopp, age 45 of Palmer, laying in a bed inside of the residence. Chopp was arrested and remanded at Mat-Su Pretrial Facility for Criminal Trespassing in the 1st Degree.

    Type: Burglary

    Dispatch Text:

    On July 26, 2024 at approximately 1416 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report from an adult female stating that her 11 year old son had broken into a neighbor's house and stole their four wheeler.  The four wheeler was soon found nearby with the keys hidden in the woods.  During the course of the investigation it was determined that the juvenile had committed the crimes of First Degree Burglary and First Degree Vehicle Theft.  Additionally, while AST was on scene, the juvenile began intentionally breaking items in his mother's residence and causing a disturbance.  He was detained for the aforementioned crimes as well as Fifth Degree Criminal Mischief (Domestic Violence).  During the course of arrest, the juvenile stated he didn't want to go to jail and kicked a Trooper.  He was additionally charged with Fourth Degree Assault against a Peace Officer. The juvenile was transported and remanded to Mat Su Youth Facility.

    Dispatch Text:

    On July 26, 2024, AST remanded Curtis Tom (32 yoa of Saint Michael) to AMCC pursuant to an arrest warrant for Assault in the 3rd Degree and Fail to Update his residence address with the Sex Offender Registration office.  The warrant stemmed from a DV assault investigation in Stebbins in June 2024.  Tom was charged with assaults on a woman that resulted in facial bruising, hair pulled out, and other injuries not requiring medical treatment. Tom was charged with felony assault because he has been convicted of two or more DV assaults within the preceding ten years.

Subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of Kobe Joe, age 22 of Tanacross, for Assault in the 4th Degree and Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree. Joe was remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center and held without bail pending arraignment.
