    On July 3, 2024 at approximately 2145 hours, the Alaska State Troopers were dispatched to a Wasilla residence for a report of a disturbance. Investigation revealed Autumn Keene, 41 years old of Wasilla, recklessly caused physical injury to a family member. Autumn was arrested and remanded to Mat Su Pre-Trial on one count of Fourth Degree Assault (Domestic Violence).

    On 07/03/2024 at approximately 0513 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to an address on En Dove Road in Wasilla for a report of a burglary in progress. Investigation led to the arrest of Aisha Toews, age 24 of Wasilla, for Criminal Trespass I, Possession of Burglary Tools, & Violating Conditions of Release. Toews was remanded to the custody of the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held on $1000 bail. Further investigation led to Alisha Silba, age 28 of Wasilla, being charged with Criminal Trespass I. Silba was released with misdemeanor citation with a mandatory court date.

    On 07/02/2024 at approximately 1845 hours, AST conducted a traffic stop on a bronze Subaru for an equipment violation near the intersection of Schrock Road and McAdoo Way in Wasilla. Investigation revealed Anna Harmon, age 55 of Wasilla, was driving with a revoked license with multiple prior convictions. The Subaru was impounded and Harmon was issued a misdemeanor summons for the charge of Driving While License Revoked and was released on her own recognizance and a scheduled court date.

    Dispatch Text:

    On July 2nd 2024, at about 2140 hours, Troopers responded to the report of a single-vehicle MVC on the Old Nenana Highway in Fairbanks. After multiple interviews and further investigation, it was found that the driver of a Motorcycle, Blaine Hartman, had lost control at around 80-100 mph and left the road into the treeline where the motorcycle and Blaine had hit a group of trees. EMS on scene gave medical attention, but ultimately Blane was pronounced deceased on scene. Further investigation is pending.

    On the evening of July 2, Troopers responded to a residence in North Pole in reference to a Domestic Assault that had just occurred between a husband and wife. Through the course of the investigation, Trooper's determined both parties committed Assault. The female half was arrested on scene and the male half was referred to the District Attorney's Office for prosecution.

    On July 3, 2024, dispatch notified AWT of an overturned kayak at river mile 26 of the Kenai River. CES also responded to the area. The kayaker, Rusty Huf, 66 YOA of Kenai, was wearing a life jacket and had overturned when a gust of wind turned his kayak sideways in the current. Fortunately, he was able to self-rescue and make it to shore. CES and AWT met up with him at Agrium boat landing, He refused medical treatment. A Kenai River Guide Mark Glassmaker, assisted by picking up gear that had floated away.

    Alaska Wildlife Troopers and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife conducted a joint residency investigation on Brannon Ames, a 63-year-old resident of Camano Island, WA. The investigation revealed that Ames obtained resident sport fishing licenses in both Alaska and Washington in 2020, 2021, and 2022. As a result, Ames was charged with three counts of Making a False Statement on a License Application.

    Type: False Statement on Alaska Resident Sport Hunting Fish license and Take of Dall Sheep without Guide

    Dispatch Text:

    Alaska Wildlife Troopers and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife conducted a joint residency investigation on Eric Johnson, 35 YOA of Bow, WA. The investigation revealed that Johnson obtained resident sport fishing licenses in Washington in 2022, as well as an Alaska Resident Sport Fish/Hunting license in Alaska. Additionally, he had taken a Dall sheep in 2022, and purchased a 2024 Alaska resident hunting license without meeting residence requirements. Johnson was charged with two counts of Making a False Statement on a License Application and Take of Dall sheep without a guide or resident within second-degree of kindred.

    On 07/02/2024 at approximately 1306 hours, the Highway Interdiction K9 Team conducted a traffic stop on a White Chevy Silverado for window tint and the driver was known to have a suspended Alaska driver's license on Church Road. Investigation revealed, the driver, Colton Renfro, age 28 of Big Lake, had multiple previous convictions of driving while suspended within the previous 10 years. Renfro was issued a misdemeanor summons for Driving while License Suspended and given a date to appear in court.

    On 07/02/2024 at approximately 1706 hours, the Highway Interdiction K9 Team conducted a traffic stop on a Gold Toyota Tundra for a seat belt violation on Schrock road in Wasilla. Investigation revealed, the driver, Christopher Gately, age 46 of Sutton, had two arrest warrant for Failure to Appear for a court date on the charges, Driving While Intoxicated (drug) and Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance 5th Degree x3. Gately was arrested and remanded to MAT-SU Pretrial where he was held on a $200 bail.
